We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Primary STEM Teacher with relevant STEM qualifications to join our teaching team. As a STEM Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to primary school students, helping to ignite their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate should have recognized STEM qualifications and be capable of using project-based learning and hands-on activities to engage students in STEM subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

STEM Curriculum Design and Delivery: Develop and teach science, technology, engineering, and mathematics lessons according to the school’s STEM educational objectives.

Project-Based Learning: Organize and guide students through project-based learning (e.g., robotics, scientific experiments, programming projects) to help them apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.

Engaging Students: Utilize interactive lessons, experiments, and competitions to spark students' interest in STEM fields and foster their creativity and practical abilities.

Student Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, adjust teaching methods as necessary, and provide constructive feedback to support student growth.

Collaboration and Parent Communication: Work closely with other subject teachers and communicate effectively with parents to ensure STEM education aligns with the overall academic goals of the school.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Educational Background: A degree in Education, Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

STEM Qualifications: Must possess STEM-related certifications such as STEM Teacher Training, Robotics or Programming Certifications, or other relevant qualifications.

Teaching Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience in primary education, specifically in STEM subjects. Experience with cross-disciplinary teaching is preferred.

Skills:

Strong knowledge in STEM fields, including basic science, technology, programming, and engineering concepts.

Experience in project-based learning (PBL) and implementing hands-on activities.

Proficiency with teaching tools and technologies, including programming languages (e.g., Python, Scratch), robotics kits, and data analysis tools.

Educational Philosophy: Passionate about teaching, patient, and innovative. Able to inspire curiosity in students and assist them in solving real-world problems.

Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Preferred Candidates:

Candidates with STEM-related certifications (e.g., Robotics, Programming, STEM Education Training).

Those with experience in educational technology, robotics, coding, or makerspaces are highly preferred.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to work in a diverse learning environment.
