The Real Estate Investment Research Intern is responsible for conducting extensive research and analysis on the international and Singapore real estate market to support feasibility studies and decision-making processes for real estate development, investment, and sales. They will gather and analyse data on real estate trends, market conditions, comparable sales data and economic indicators to provide insights to the investment team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on the international and local real estate market across all asset classes
  • Collect and analyse data using various tools and sources, such as REALIS, news publication, annual reports and property listing platforms
  • Assist in feasibility studies on potential acquisitions
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and visual aids to communicate research findings to the Investment team
  • Assist in article/blog write up
  • Stay up-to-date with industry news, trends, and global news
  • Any other ad hoc & administrative matters

Learning Objective

  • Real estate market analysis: learn how to analyse real estate markets, including gathering data on market trends and conditions
  • Learn to identify potential opportunities and risks within the market
  • Develop skills in conducting research while using a variety of techniques to interpret and analyse data
  • Understand real estate tokenisation processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry news, trends, and latest transactions to have a better understanding of the real estate market.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.

Availability: Able to commit at least 2 days per week for the duration of the internship.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of financial modeling and/or real estate investment analysis is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with real estate data sources such as REALIS, news publications, annual reports, and property listing platforms is advantageous.

Research & Analytical Skills:

  • Keen interest in real estate markets, investment trends, and economic indicators.
  • Familarity with gathering, analysing, and interpreting data to support feasibility studies and investment decision-making.

Personal Attributes:

  • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently.
  • Enthusiastic about real estate investment and market research.
