Responsibilities:
(i) Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate solar potential.
(ii) Design solar PV systems using software like Helioscope, AutoCAD, PVSyst, and SketchUp with appropriate solar panels, inverters, batteries, and balance-of-system components.
(iii) Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE, UL, NABCEP).
(iv) Design optimal PV array layout for maximum efficiency and minimal losses with consideration of site conditions.
(v) Structure design for rooftop, ground mount and floating solar system.
(vi) Electrical design including single-line diagrams (SLDs), electrical layouts, and schematics for PV installations with suitable cable sizing and protection device selection.
(vii) Coordinate for all submissions
(viii) Provide engineering support for sales, business development teams and project management team.
(ix) Prepare Bill of Material (BOM) for designed projects
(x) Prepare design project budget and project costing monitoring during execution.
(xi) Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues with contractors.
(xii) Analyze data from monitoring systems to identify areas for improvement.
(xiii) Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
(xiv) Control and manage material purchases and inventory.
(xv) Preparation of project report and analysis of system performance.
(xvi) Co-work with project management team to smooth the project delivery.
