  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

  • Perform global structural analysis with all major connection detail ULS/ALS.
  • Perform global fatigue analysis with all major connection detail FLS.
  • Perform complete structural analysis reports for all main structure foundation, support, lifting, sea fastening, load out, dry & wet tow up to classification society approval level.
  • Able to perform steel beam design such as ULS bending, shear, bucking verification and SLS deflection verification using the beam section properties.
  • Perform mesh load transfer for structural analysis.
  • Perform structural design specification.
  • Perform main scantling and steel weight calculation.
  • Perform structural construction standard in detail engineering.
  • Perform Collision analysis.
  • Design and perform all kind of major structural connection detail and analysis.
  • Coordinate with classification societies for design and analysis approvals.
  • Design and drafting of all structural drawings such as hull lines plan, structural category plan, deck loading plan, full penetration welding plan, scantling drawings, major connection scantlings etc. (Optional)

Requirements:

  • Academic qualification in Marine/Ocean Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in the whole process of concept/basic design/detail engineering of semi-submersible substructure/floater design in Floating Offshore Wind Turbine (FOWT) or offshore rig industry.
  • Proficient in software packages in SESAM Genie, SACS, Python and AutoCAD
  • Good knowledge of all regulations such as DNV, ABS, BV, IEC etc.
