About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to drive growth across APAC, targeting investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and trading firms. You will be responsible for building strategic client relationships, securing new business, and expanding revenue streams by selling research and analytics solutions to capital markets clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing high-value deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buy-side and sell-side firms, including investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and private equity firms.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market presence and drive revenue growth across APAC.
- Work closely with research, product, and marketing teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
- Deliver high-impact sales presentations and communicate the value proposition effectively.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify new opportunities.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and accurate forecasting through CRM tools.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of sales experience in financial services, capital markets, or a related field.
- Proven track record of selling research, analytics, or data solutions to buy-side and sell-side firms.
- Strong network within APAC’s investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and private equity firms.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in complex, consultative sales with high-value, long sales-cycle deals.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, investment research, and analytics solutions.
- Ability to work autonomously and drive business growth in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Willingness to travel across APAC as needed.
