What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Support the Engineering team in planning and overseeing preventative maintenance for filling equipment.
- Manage the status of work control and backlog from work order submission to completion.
- Assist in maintenance work management and the installation, commissioning, and qualification of equipment.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Provide input on capital project design regarding equipment selection and specifications to minimize life cycle costs.
- Communicate schedules to all resources, including maintenance, production, outside services, stores, and engineering.
- Oversee pest control management in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Pfizer internal requirements.
- Manage and properly archive all utility documents and drawings.
- Ensure the generation and maintenance of documentation supporting Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Contribute to project tasks and milestones, organize work to meet deadlines, and apply basic team effectiveness skills within the immediate Work Team.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- Perform maintenance and inspection activities on plant instrument and electrical equipment according to procedures, good engineering practices and cGMP.
- Execute the predictive maintenance programs, collect data, analyze, generate report and recommend corrective actions/improvements to reduce instrument and electrical equipment failures.
- Develop maintenance programs to maintain plant assets. Review and modify the PM/PdM to improve instrument and electrical equipment reliability.
- Ensure smooth operation by close monitoring of the instrument and electrical equipment conditions. Carrying out root cause failure analysis to improve product quality and instrument and electrical equipment reliability.
- Lead, coordinate and execute instrument and electrical equipment troubleshooting.
- Liaise with Automation on overall system performance on PCS and PLC. Confirm and verify instrument and electrical equipment performance by establishing feasibility inspection and testing methods, testing properties and monitoring parameters.
- Determine acceptability of instrument and electrical equipment rework/installation by conducting inspections of reworked instrument and electrical equipment and new installation job.
- Support project design, construction and commissioning through active involvement in commissioning activities, discuss instrument and electrical equipment improvement and modifications with vendors/Supervisors/Engineers.
- Lead/participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support/lead (IRS/QAR) investigations.
- Support maintenance operations and shutdown activities by working with Supervisor and Engineer on developing the annual PM plan, setting work priorities; scheduling PM activities, coordinating and resources planning to meet the schedule in cost-effective way.
- Work with E&I Supervisor and Maintenance Planner to enhance maintenance activities on Global Reliability Program (GRP) / Preventive Maintenance Optimization (PMO).
- Support Project Team on special / urgent assigned projects to meet the requirement, schedule and budget target.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment on areas under one’s responsibility.
- Provide training (e.g. OJT) and coaching to colleagues to build-up their competencies.
- Participate IMEx Process Centric Team Tier 1 meetings and address engineering issues based on priority.
- Develop or support TPM-OPC checklists, train and coach operation team in OPC tasks and knowledge.
- Complete all assigned training on-time and also prior to work execution.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing desired results/KPIs.
- Responsible for KPI’s include: Safety incident /lost time, PM Overdue, Instrument and electrical equipment uptime% and System / equipment inspection, trending, failure report and optimization
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- Knowledge of Reliability Maintenance, Computer Maintenance Management System, current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), Right First Time technique and performance base management.
- Experience in a large, global and complex organization would be an advantage
- Sound Electrical and Instrument Maintenance Troubleshooting and Analysis Skills.
- Sound Facilitation and Communication skills.
- Able to handle multiple projects concurrently and possess project management experience
