Role Summary

We are seeking a Financial Operations (FinOps) Manager to oversee and enhance our financial operations, with a primary focus on accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and cash flow management. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining compliance, and supporting business growth through effective financial management and strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations & Cash Management

  • Oversee AP, AR, and cash flow management functions to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial resources for business needs.
  • Implement best practices in billing and collections to minimize financial risk.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, fostering an environment of transparency and integrity.

2. Financial Management & Risk Control

  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Work closely with senior management to develop cost-optimization strategies and drive revenue growth.

3. Process Improvement & Technology Enablement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows, reducing manual efforts and improving efficiency.
  • Leverage financial software, ERP systems, and automation tools to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives, ensuring scalability and future-proofing processes.

4. Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor the FinOps team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Promote strong cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring finance aligns with business units.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 12 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong AP, AR, and cash flow management expertise.
  • Experience in process automation and ERP systems implementation is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic oversight and operational execution.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
