Facilities Engineer

Responsible for supporting the Facilities Management Manager in ensuring seamless operation of critical systems, cleanrooms, and building services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facility Operations & Maintenance – Oversee and maintain HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, and ventilation units, ensuring efficiency and compliance with environmental conditions. Conduct troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to optimize system performance.
  2. Cleanroom Management – Ensure ISO-class and medical-grade cleanrooms meet regulatory standards by monitoring temperature, humidity, pressure, and particulate levels. Coordinate audits, calibrations, and maintenance with third-party vendors.
  3. Systems Monitoring & Optimization – Manage the Building Management System (BMS) and Room Monitoring System (RMS) to track and control HVAC, lighting, and environmental conditions. Analyze trends, address alarms, and implement efficiency improvements.
  4. Building & Facility Services – Support maintenance of fire protection, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Oversee cleaning, security, pest control, and waste management to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  5. Regulatory Compliance & Safety – Ensure adherence to ISO, GMP, and workplace safety standards. Assist in audits, validation processes, and regulatory inspections related to facility operations.
  6. Vendor & Project Coordination – Manage external contractors for maintenance, facility upgrades, and new installations. Review service contracts and oversee projects related to HVAC, cleanroom systems, and infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma in Engineering (Degree preferred) with at least 5 years of experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturing.
  • Strong communication skills for vendor coordination.
  • Proficient in technical reporting and computer applications.
