Electronics Engineering group is looking for a skilled and motivated leader to lead design platform activities. This role will be part of our Singapore Tech Hub management team, as a new start up organization, you will work with management team to define technical strategy, footprint and build up the expertise.

We are seeking a visionary and experienced professional to join our tech hub as the leader for Electronics Engineering. The role will be responsible for leading the research, development, and implementation of advanced electronic systems and components and embedded software design activity to enhance the performance, safety, and efficiency of our vehicles.

What you’ll do

  • System architect in the research, development, and implementation of advanced electronic systems and components for automotive applications.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the continuous improvement of electronic systems and components focusing on innovation, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure the successful integration of electronic systems and components into our vehicles.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new technologies and materials.
  • Be on the frontier with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards related to electronics components.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements throughout the development process.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the company's management team on electronics and components-related matters.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, and milestones.

What you'll bring

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Software Engineering, or equivalent education. Relevant PhD will be advantageous.
  • 10+ years of experience within system or software development and/or systems engineering with a focus on automotive applications.
  • Strong knowledge of system design, simulation, and modelling.
  • Working knowledge of schematic capture, FPGA development tools, PCB layout and hardware description languages (e.g. Verilog)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with automotive safety and performance standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
  • A passion for innovation and a commitment to driving the advancement of electronics and semiconductors in the automotive industry.
