DB Golf Center is seeking a highly motivated and passionate personal trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in fitness training, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to helping clients achieve their health and fitness goals. This position will also involve working with children, so experience or a willingness to work with kids is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Client Assessment: Conduct thorough fitness assessments for clients to determine their current fitness level, goals, and any limitations or special considerations.
- Customized Training Programs: Develop personalized fitness programs tailored to each client's needs, goals, and fitness level.
- One-on-One Training: Provide individualized instruction and support to clients during training sessions to ensure proper technique, safety, and effectiveness.
- Group Training: Lead group fitness classes and sessions, creating engaging and challenging workouts for participants of varying fitness levels.
- Nutritional Guidance: Offer basic nutritional guidance and advice to clients to support their fitness goals and overall health.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor clients' progress regularly and adjust training programs as needed to ensure continued improvement and goal attainment.
- Motivation and Support: Encourage and motivate clients to stay committed to their fitness journey, providing positive reinforcement and support along the way.
- Child-Focused Activities: Develop and implement fitness programs specifically designed for children, focusing on fun, age-appropriate activities that promote physical activity and healthy habits.
- Safety and Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of all clients, especially children, during training sessions, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience working as a personal trainer, with a demonstrated ability to design and implement effective fitness programs for clients of all ages and fitness levels.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively instruct and motivate clients, as well as communicate with parents and guardians regarding children's fitness programs.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, creating a positive and supportive training environment.
- Passion for Fitness: Genuine passion for health and fitness, with a desire to help others achieve their fitness goals and lead healthier lifestyles.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules and peak gym hours.
- Child-Specific Training: Experience or training in working with children, including an understanding of child development and age-appropriate exercise programming, is preferred.
- Continuing Education: Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and best practices in fitness training.
