NUHS HR CoE - Governance and Audit SpecialistSenior Manager/Assistant DirectorWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Governance and Audit Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HR policies, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement in our HR processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our HR systems and practices while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance our overall HR governance.Key Responsibilities: * Audit and Compliance:
  • Plan, lead, and conduct comprehensive audits on HR-related policies and compliance measures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all external and internal HR audits.
  • Evaluate and strengthen internal controls for HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate responses to address recommendations made by external auditors and internal audit teams.
  • Perform regular audit checks in accordance with the HR Governance Annual Work Plan.
  • Policy Management:
  • Oversee the Annual HR Policy Review Exercise, including updating the HR Policy Directory.
  • Maintain and organize the repository of HR policies and forms.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key HR processes.
  • Risk Management:
  • Manage and maintain Cluster Risk Registers in the RI-SYS platform.
  • Lead the annual review of Cluster HR Risk Registers, ensuring all potential risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Conflict of Interest Management:
  • Oversee the Annual Conflict of Interest (COI) Declaration Exercise.
  • Lead system enhancements for the COI declaration form and platform to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Project Management:
  • Lead and manage HR-related projects, collaborating with other functions as needed.
  • Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Provide expert consultation to HR teams on governance matters.
  • Identify areas for improvement in HR processes and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR auditing, compliance, and governance.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • Project management experience is highly desirable.
  • Certification in HR or auditing (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CIA) is a plus.
