About the Role
Reporting into the Director, this role acts as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring a seamless client experience. This involves overseeing service delivery, managing the rollout of new or enhanced services, maintaining client communications, and identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance client satisfaction. This position takes full responsibility for client service delivery, including managing the team responsible for daily processing tasks in areas like Middle and Back Office operations, as well as Fund Accounting. Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential for supporting these functions, delivering clear communication, problem-solving, and making sure clients receive top-tier service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the go-to person for client needs, making sure expectations are clear and met.
- Identify any changes in client activity or regulations and coordinate necessary service updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that impact service quality and client experience.
- Handle client requests for service enhancements, expansions, or customizations.
- Build strong client relationships by planning and attending regular meetings.
- Lead and support managers across fund accounting and middle office operations.
- Create key reports and business metrics to strengthen client relationships.
- Manage due diligence meetings and responses for both new and existing clients.
- Oversee board report preparation and represent the company at client board meetings.
- Maintain strong relationships with third-party providers, auditors, and legal teams.
- Drive efficiency through automation and standardization of processes.
Ideal Candidate
- A degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in financial services, particularly fund accounting or middle office operations (hedge fund experience is a plus).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams, both in-person and remotely.
- Excellent client and team management skills.
- Clear and effective communicator—both written and verbal.
- Forward-thinking and solution-oriented.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Great at time management and staying organized.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
