Job Description:
As an ESG Researcher Intern, you will assist the creation of insights that guide our ESG strategy, conduct research on important ESG topics, and analyze trends in order to further CorpStage's goal. Someone who is enthusiastic about corporate responsibility, sustainability, and data-driven solutions for a good social and environmental effect would be perfect for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine ESG frameworks, trends, and laws in detail, paying particular attention to issues including social effect, governance procedures, climate change, and industry-specific sustainability projects.
- Assist in the examination of indicators and data pertaining to ESG performance and results, helping to provide thorough research reports.
- Help evaluate sustainability performance metrics, benchmarks, and corporate ESG ratings in order to pinpoint strategic opportunities and areas for development.
- Keep up with new developments in the ESG space, industry best practices, and legislative changes to improve CorpStage's analysis and suggestions.
- Assist the ESG team in creating case studies, white papers, and research summaries that will inform and direct clients.
- Assist in gathering, evaluating, and visualizing data so that research findings may be successfully shared with internal and external teams.
- Engage in brainstorming and team conversations to provide suggestions for furthering CorpStage's ESG research initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen interest in ESG topics and corporate sustainability.
- Ability to gather and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, with basic knowledge of data visualization tools being an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings clearly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with research databases or analytical software is a plus.

- Meticulous and capable of performing comprehensive, precise research under strict time constraints.
- Having prior experience in ESG research, sustainability reporting, or data analysis is advantageous.
