You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to provide timely and effective legal advice and collaborate with external counsel to ensure that the bank's interests are protected. Your ability to analyze complex issues, think critically, and communicate effectively will be essential in driving business success.What you do
  • Advising Group Operations & Technology and other divisions on legal issues, such as vendor engagement, negotiation, contracts and management, disputes and termination.
  • Advising Group Risk Management on legal issues such as negotiation, dispute management of outsourcing service agreements and termination
  • Advising Group HR on all employment law issues, such as hiring, disciplinary issues, employment policies, and termination
  • Advising Account Services on legal issues, such as compliance with various court orders including enforcement orders, injunctions, bankruptcy orders, etc.
  • Co-ordinating and advising on industry-wide projects and initiatives, including fintech projects
  • Advising on a range of other legal issues, and instructing external counsel where appropriate

  • Qualified lawyer with at least 9 years PQE, with good and practical dispute resolution background.
  • Contract/ corporate/commercial law, with an interest in IP and technology issues.
  • Confident in dealing with and managing multiple stakeholders and negotiating with external parties.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently and with other functional specialists in completing projects.
  • Agile mindset and experience in change management will be viewed positively.
