Covenant Community Methodist Church (CCMC), located in Methodist Girls' School at 11 Blackmore Drive is seeking a passionate and committed Lay Ministry Staff to join our Mandarin Ministry. As part of our mission, we strive to reach Mandarin-speaking locals and immigrants, guiding them on their journey to becoming disciples of Jesus Christ. If you are driven by a desire to serve, teach, and minister to Mandarin-speaking communities, we invite you to be part of our team and help us grow this vital ministry.

Responsibilities:

· Lead, plan and oversee the Mandarin Worship Service.

· Organize and guide Prayer Meetings and Bible studies tailored for the Mandarin-speaking community.

· Provide pastoral care by visiting Mandarin-speaking families at their homes and workplaces across Singapore.

· Preach and share the Gospel, especially with those who are ready to embrace discipleship and join the CCMC congregation.

· Facilitate Chinese Alpha courses for the Chinese community.

· Plan fellowship gatherings and community events to foster deeper connections within the Mandarin-speaking community.

· Manage the administrative duties of the Mandarin Ministry, including maintaining records and overseeing the ministry's budget.

Requirements

· Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, particularly within the Mandarin-speaking community.

· Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently, while also being a collaborative and supportive team player.

· Experience in leading or serving in Mandarin Worship Services and Ministries.

· Prior experience working with Chinese immigrants is an advantage.

· Cultural awareness and sensitivity to Chinese traditions and values.

· Theological training or background is essential.

· Willingness to work on Sundays and participate in church events as needed.
