- Lead the ASEAN Data Centre CoC (Centre of Competency) to support DC owners; consultants; General/Specialist Contractors, Siemens partners in ASEAN countries on solution design, technical support of Siemens offering in smart Building Management System; Fire Detection System; Aspirating Smoke Detection System, Gas Suppression System, Security System, Digital solutions and services.
- Lead the vertical sales team of Singapore to participate in direct sales activities including pre-bid reviews, risk management, bid preparation and submission; and ensure proper sales-to-project hand over of secured orders.
- Have and further develop an in-depth understanding of the Data Centre industry in ASEAN countries, including market dynamics, operational needs and constraints, regulatory nuances, and competitive landscape.
- Hold responsibility for meeting sales order and revenue, based on the assigned team targets
- Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts, amidst intricate organizational hierarchies and become a trusted advisor for our customers and stakeholders in the Data Centre industry
- Understand customer’s business processes, drivers and develop strategic account plan to support the digital transformation journey of the account.
- Growing Share of Wallet: Expand existing and new customer relationships by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within our solutions and services business
- Articulate Siemens value propositions within the Data Center space, which resonates with diverse stakeholders with an added focus on digitalization and sustainability
- Adopt and leverage internal sales tools to maximize sales effectiveness, provide accurate sales forecasting and enable data driven decision making
- Engage in industry association working groups, to develop domain expertise and represent Siemens as a thought leader in the industry.
- Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders, including Finance and Operations.
- Ensure team’s strong compliance to Siemens Business Conduct Guidelines
- Sales experience in building services in Data Centre such as Building Management System; Fire Detection System, Gas Suppression System, Security System, HVAC etc.
- Granular understanding of the design and operational requirements of Data Centres, including industry standards, IT/OT integration concepts etc
- Strong relationship with various stake holders including developers, consultants, builders, facilities managers and general/specialist contractors.
- Possess a Degree in Business / Engineering or equivalent
- Appreciates collaboration and ability to communicate effectively in cross-collaboration opportunities
- Growth mindset and able to embrace a consultative selling approach
