The incumbent will report to and assist the VP, Rewards, Performance and People Analytics, to drive People & Culture excellence through various rewards initiatives, including the creation of a high-performance culture, performance goal alignment with the company’s strategic objectives, implementing rewards and performance strategies which enhance employee engagement, motivation, maximize employee performance and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of compensation and benefit programs to meet the company’s objectives. These programs include and are not limited to job evaluation, salary packaging, short-term and long-term and sales incentive plans, share/stock ownership plans, employee benefits (e.g. health insurance, health screening, flexible benefits, etc.).
- Support in the year end process including performance management, information required for Union negotiation, salary ranges review, annual increment and bonus exercise and ensure deliverables are met timely.
- Assist in materials preparation required for the Compensation Committee.
- Collaborate with and enable HR Business Partners to support or lead their respective businesses on the rewards and performance front.
- Support employee benefit, wellness and insurance programs including liaison with vendors, conducting communication sessions, reviewing and renewing employee insurance and health screening plans including administration and timely payment of invoices.
- Conduct job evaluation processes to determine appropriate salary ranges and ensure internal equity.
- Review adhoc compensation proposals where required.
- Lead participation in remuneration and benefits surveys with the view to gain market-competitive insights.
- Support in the write up for the corporate governance report and shares for annual report, in addition to delivery of long-term incentive reports to Finance for financial reporting.
- Support in internal and external audit requirements and furnish reports where required.
- Support the financial budgeting process, coordinating required data from stakeholders to furnish to Finance.
- Keep abreast of relevant legislative changes, initiating proposals on appropriate changes to policies and programs, and communicate to employees on new and updated policies.
- Support in People Analytics dashboards and capability building.
- Contribute to and/or drive assigned rewards initiatives, policy review and projects
Competencies & Proficiency Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 - 8 years of solid experience in compensation and benefits administration.
- Deep understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and trends.
- Must have strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google and HRIS systems.
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or CBP (Certified Benefits Professional) designation preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
