If you are as interested as we are in this dynamic industry, we would love to hear from you.Job DescriptionWe seek an experienced energy professional with significant consultancy and project delivery experience in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia and wider SEA energy markets to continue our global growth and further build our Asia energy practice. You will be focusing on providing consulting and the energy transition services to clients. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in renewable energy, hydrogen, interconnector, and battery technologies and be responsible for delivering a range of services to our clients, including strategy development, techno-economic modeling, and due diligence, as well as an in-depth knowledge of energy policy and regulation across the region include performing and presenting complex energy-related analyses for a wide range of clients including major financial investors, international developers, utilities, governments, and regulatory bodies.We offer a competitive salary, a performance-related bonus scheme, and a strong range of benefits, in a friendly international working environment with a wide variety of interesting and challenging projects.Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and strategic insights to clients on the energy market in the SEA region, with a focus on renewable energy, hydrogen, interconnectors, batteries, and electric vehicles (EVs).
  • Deliver a wide range of consulting services, including strategy development, techno-economic modeling, due diligence, energy transition planning, decarbonization strategies, and policy design.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and actively contribute to energy projects throughout their lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in the energy sector, providing valuable insights to clients.
  • Actively engage in business development activities, including identifying new project opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding our client base across the region.
  • Leverage your extensive network and relationships with industry players, government agencies, banks, and lenders to generate leads and drive business growth.
  • Support project teams, leading tasks in project independently, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to analysts within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory frameworks, and technological advancements related to renewable energy and energy transition.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, demonstrating thought leadership and promoting our services.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental sciences, business, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
  • Proven track record and minimum of 3 years of experience for consultant in energy consulting, with a strong focus on renewable energy, hydrogen, interconnectors, batteries, and EVs.
  • Extensive understanding of the energy market in the SEA region, including market dynamics, policy frameworks, and emerging trends.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategy development, techno-economic modeling, due diligence, energy transition planning, and decarbonization strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of policy design and regulatory frameworks related to renewable energy and energy transition.
  • Excellent business development skills with a successful track record of cultivating and expanding client relationships.
  • Well-established network and relationships with industry players, government agencies, banks, and lenders in the SEA region.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis, with experience in utilizing modeling tools and software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and concepts to clients and stakeholders.
