Anchored in our values of Passion for Sport, Strength through Teamwork and Care for People, we believe in working and playing, not just as a team, but as a family.What you will be working on:Co-led by Sport Singapore, Singapore Sports School (SSP) and National Youth Sports Institute (NYSI), you will be part of a journey to support the vision for the next bound to build new capabilities for high performance sport and better integrate our programmes/policies to strengthen support for youth to senior athletes, and youth-to-senior transition. In this role, you will contribute to the development of the long-term High Performance Sport (HPS) strategy and policies that seeks to build an integrated (youth-to-senior), holistic and athlete-centric, sustainable and future-ready HPS system and athlete pathways to support Team Singapore (TeamSG) in achieving HPS success and inspiring and uniting the nation through their journeys and performances. • Conduct scenario planning, horizon scanning, and predictive analysis initiatives to inform strategic decision-making, to engender a future ready HPS system and athlete daily training environment (DTE) • Review national talent identification (TID) and selection policies, programmes and processes, with the aim of strengthening the athlete pathways and talent pipeline for sustained TeamSG success • Develop the HPS facility plans and strategies to enhance the daily training environment (DTE) of TeamSG athletes and coachesWhat we are looking for:We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. The ideal candidate should possess the following: • Relevant experience in the area of policy formulation and writing in the Public Service will be beneficial. • Ability to listen, assimilate and translate large amounts of information from a wide range of stakeholders into meaningful policies and procedures. • Ability to leverage on qualitative and quantitative data to write evidence-based policies clearly and operationalise agreed strategies. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Only shortlisted applicants will be notified. The level of offer will commensurate with applicants' experience and track records.
