We are thrilled to welcome a new Maintenance Technician (E&I) to our Singapore team, and we hope it’s you.Your FocusAs a Maintenance Technician (E&I), you will be responsible for conducting Preventive Maintenance (PM) and other scheduled maintenance activities. You will ensure the continuous reliability of plant equipment, keep precise records of all tasks, participate in Electrical and Instrumentation projects, and manage the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and inspection of all Electrical and Instrumentation equipment.How You Will Contribute
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM), and maintenance activities as according to schedule planned to ensure the systems are well maintained.
- To assure continuous reliability of the plant equipment systems to minimize production impacts and enhance reliability.
- Maintain proper records of all jobs and participate in Electrical & Instrumentation related projects and plant modification work.
- Installation, calibration, inspection, and troubleshooting of Electrical & Instrumentation equipment, in accordance with Engineering and Company Standards.
- Handle operation and maintenance of various electrical systems & services (e.g Chillers, UPS, HVAC, AHU etc)
- Installs and maintains various types of motors, motor control systems, control valves, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, transformers, etc
- Lays out assembles, installs, tests repair and adjusts electrical & instrument fixtures, apparatus, equipment wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
- Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
- Interprets Electrical single line drawings (SLD), schematics and perform work by these or verbal instructions provided by qualified person.
- Monitors contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications.
- Practice Good Manufacturing principles and always comply to GMP, Quality Control, Food Safety, HACCP, Safety and Legislative requirements.
- Nitec in any engineering related discipline or equivalent.
- At least 3 years working experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in chemical, food or pharmaceutical industry).
- Proficiency in English communication skills.
- Knowledge in using computer preferably Microsoft office tools.
- Proactive with ability to work to high standards and form part of team.
- Possess Electrical LEW license as added advantage.
