What The Role Is

You are responsible for undertaking various Vocation Advisory Authority (VAA) and Human Resource (HR) portfolios and responsibilities in the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS).

What You Will Be Working On

  • Manage Defence Cyber Experts (DCX) and C4X (Cyber) job family and vocation HR issues
  • Review and implement vocation and job family policies
  • Develop the DCX (Cyber) career progression framework and plan officers' career journeys
  • Manage sponsored award holders and vacation attachment programmes
  • Guide stakeholders on HR issues
  • Monitor staffing levels and review competency frameworks
  • Manage engagement initiatives
  • Contribute to digitalising HR processes

  • Responding swiftly to changing scenarios and tackling unexpected challenges flexibly


Working with multiple stakeholders and balancing their interests with organisational needs

  • Enhancing service delivery to provide a positive onboarding experience and career journey for employees
  • Liaising with all levels of management and engaging effectively with Senior Management


What We Are Looking For

  • At least 5 years of work experience in HR related fields is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Comfortable with working with large data sets
  • Effective presentation and engagement skills, especially with Senior Management
