What the role is:Drug abuse is a worsening global problem that harms millions of people. It destroys individuals, destabilises families and disrupts the workforce. We are looking for someone who is passionate about keeping Singapore drug-free and who enjoys working with our key stakeholders, partners and volunteer advocates to bring out our collaborative vision of a Drug-Free Singapore.What you will be working on:The officer will be part of the CNB DrugFree Office to conceptualise and implement key community partnership and volunteer management and engagement strategies, and be a key touchpoint and enabler for community partners to develop and run ground-up initiatives that create in members of the public the mindset to support and advocate for DrugFreeSG. • Working with key stakeholders like the National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA) to plan and implement initiatives to develop community support and encourage involvement for the anti-drug cause, particularly in relation to upstream preventive drug efforts. This includes reviewing current approaches to identify opportunity areas and building stakeholders' capabilities to achieve greater impact. • Conceptualising and developing strategies for branding and communications efforts to raise awareness of the anti-drug cause and enhance the profile of stakeholders. The job holder will work closely with various stakeholders to plan and execute public relations and communications activities. • Managing public touchpoints such as the website, general enquiries email account, and social media accounts. This will include overseeing the curation and creation of content to inspire community advocacy. • Assisting with the multi-faceted day to day functions of the Division which would include secretariat support at meetings, and implmenting publicity, campaigns, and community engagement efforts.What we are looking for:Job Requirements: • Highly committed and full of initiative. • Creative with good communication and project management skills. • Strong interpersonal skills to work with different stakeholders and partners • Familiar with youth culture and social networking tools popular among youths. • Experience in marketing, event organising, public affairs or corporate communications. • Able to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines.
