- Ensure accurate and timely administration of the Civil Service Long Service Award (LSA)/Special Appreciation Award (SAA), Annual Promotion Ceremony, as well as MHA-wide awards. Duties include:- • Data generation and verification to ensure the eligibility lists are prepared accurately and efficiently. • Check computations and collaborate with relevant stakeholders for exceptional cases to address information/data gaps affecting officers' Years in Service (YIS) computations for LSA & SAA to ensure accuracy • Perform various procurement, billing and payment functions • Manage the end-to-end Corporate Card booking process and oversee enhancements for the Corporate Card Management System • Process and handle all queries or service requests in a professional and timely manner, and in accordance with the Service Level Agreements (SLA). • Bring about continuous HR process improvement through process reviews and harmonization of practices. This includes identifying gaps in relevant processes under the team, establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conducting regular reviews to ensure relevancy. • Develop a strong and effective working relationship with key stakeholders and other internal branches within HRSC to ensure that issues relating to awards and benefits are addressed in a timely manner.
- Good communication, writing and problem-solving skills. • Meticulous and independent with strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities. • A good team player who is also able to work well independently. • Able to multi-task and work under extreme pressure with tight deadlines. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, ILMS system, SAP/HRP system and/or relevant experience in Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Python, Tableau would be an advantage. • Prior knowledge in awards administration and/or procurement function would also be an advantage.
