Freelance Business Chinese Language Trainer for Adult Learners

(Native speakers with prior teaching experience and strong bilingual proficiency preferred)

Role Descriptions:

Business Chinese Trainer (Freelance / Ad-Hoc Basis)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct private (1-1, 1-2) or corporate group Business Chinese courses for professionals across various industries, including Finance, Legal, IT, Logistics, Media, Marketing, Real Estate, and Tourism.
  • Deliver courses on an on-demand or ad-hoc basis, depending on client requirements.
  • Typical Private Business Chinese course packages: 18 Hours | 24 Hours | 48 Hours, 1-1.5 Hours/Session, Once a week interval
  • Typical Corporate Business Chinese courses:
  • Group size: 5-16 participants
  • Duration: 8-15 sessions (2 hours per session, once a week)
  • Course period: 2-4 months per project
  • Hourly rate: S$35-80, based on class type (private or group), class size, student feedback, and trainer's experience.
  • Customize course materials according to industry-specific needs and design PPT slides (training & guidance provided).

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in any industry (preferred).
  • Native Chinese speaker with accurate Mandarin pronunciation and strong spoken & written Chinese proficiency (preferred due to job nature).
  • Highly fluent in both English and Chinese to facilitate on-the-spot translation of industry-specific terms between both languages.
  • Corporate background and prior experience in teaching Chinese or Business Chinese will be prioritized.
  • Capable of teaching Business Chinese and customizing course content to meet industry-specific needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to conduct engaging and dynamic lessons.
  • Able to teach both in-person and via Zoom.
  • Ability to explain complex business, cultural, and etiquette-related concepts effectively to learners.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $300.00 - $2,000.00 per month
