Responsibilities

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy is looking for a Research Assistant who will assist with ongoing projects on public policy, particularly behavioural public policy that draws insights from behavioural economics and psychology. Responsibilities could include (but not limited to):

  • Scoping and collating literature reviews
  • Supporting grant applications and administration
  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of human subject ethics protocols
  • Preparing questionnaires/survey instruments
  • Collecting, cleaning, formatting and analysing primary/secondary data
  • Assisting with the editing and preparation of documentation and manuscripts relating to related projects
  • Assisting with events associated with research projects, such as planning and hosting conferences and workshops

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Keen interest in behavioural public policy
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Independent, enthusiastic and attentive to details
  • Familiarity with statistical software, such as R, SPSS, Stata or data visualization software such as Tableau
  • Prior experience in a research role will be preferred
