  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Adecco is partnering with a retailer that operates a chain of supercenters, and we are seeking a Merchandiser (Sourcing) to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Sourcing Manager based overseas, this is a newly created role to manage the hard goods category (furniture and daily essentials), supporting daily operations such as supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification & order follow-up.
  • Job Type: Full-time, permanent opportunity
  • Work location: Central region
  • Work hours: Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm (with a hybrid working model)
  • Salary: Up to $5,000/month + AWS + VB
*This role will be required to take night calls (~2 times per week) with stakeholders based overseas (12/13 hours time difference)*The Job:
  • Source and develop products in alignment with business objectives and category requirements.
  • Oversee daily operations, including supplier coordination, product development, cost management, sample approval, and order tracking.
  • Negotiate trade terms, manage vendor onboarding, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships while monitoring performance against key metrics.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of sourcing plans and product launches.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with quality assurance, logistics, and packaging teams to optimize the sourcing process.
The Talent:
  • Prior experience from sourcing/buying office is highly advantageous, regardless of handling soft or hard goods.
  • Familiar with sourcing landscape across China, Southeast Asia, India and Pakistan is a plus.
  • Proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders.
