We are partnering with a leading blockchain firm in Singapore, seeking a Trader (Market Maker) to enhance liquidity and ensure smooth client execution. This role is not about speculative trading but focuses on optimizing liquidity to facilitate seamless transactions in the digital asset space. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a critical role in maintaining efficient market operations. Prior experience in a trading house is essential, though industry-specific experience in crypto is not required.

Role

Reporting to the CTO, this role would encompass the following:

  • Ensure liquidity across trading venues, enabling smooth client execution and market efficiency.
  • Optimize trading strategies to maintain tight spreads and minimize execution costs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to refine and enhance trading systems and algorithms.
  • Monitor and analyze market conditions, adjusting parameters to adapt to changing liquidity demands.
  • Work closely with clients and counterparties to facilitate optimal execution and market-making services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a trading house or financial institution, with exposure to market-making, execution, or electronic trading.
  • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable working with large datasets, order books, and execution strategies.
  • Programming knowledge (Python, C++, or similar) is a plus but not required.
  • Understanding of liquidity dynamics, spreads, and execution efficiency in financial markets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance trading environment.
