  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding stakeholder needs and effectively communicating them to the development team.
  • Streamlining and automating development and release processes for increased efficiency.
  • Conducting code reviews, analyzing results, and ensuring code quality.
  • Implementing robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard systems against threats.
  • Identifying technical challenges and creating software updates and fixes accordingly.
  • Collaborating with software developers and engineers to ensure adherence to established processes.
  • Project planning and active involvement in project management decisions.
  • Deploying updates, fixes, and providing Level 2 technical support.
  • Creating tools to minimize errors and enhance overall customer experience.
  • Developing software for seamless integration with internal back-end systems.
  • Performing root cause analysis of production errors and resolving technical issues.
  • Creating scripts to automate processes.
  • Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
  • Proficiency in AWS and Kubernetes or EKS
  • Proficient in security scanning tools and scripting
  • Familiarity with Podman, Linux, databases and SQL
  • Knowledge of Ruby or Python programming languages is a plus
  • Problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
  • Experience in developing and engineering applications for local government is a plus
