We are on a lookout for an intern to join us from March'25 - August'25 (6 months paid internship).

What you will be doing:

· Stool sample processing, including sample receiving, DNA extraction and quantification

· Keeping meticulous records of samples, their status and overall project progression

· Maintenance of lab equipment and environment, e.g. ensuring supply of required reagents

· Quality assurance for equipment used for commercial and collaborative research projects

· Assist in our long-running donor recruitment program

· Ensure that high quality standards are maintained at all times in compliance with ISO9001

· Ensure compliance with SOP and safety regulations

· Record data and other observations, report irregularities and troubleshoot errors

· Other ad-hoc tasks as required (will vary in scope, including logistics handling, literature review, irregular sample handling/processing).

· Understanding of wet lab procedures and safety requirements

· Organized person with the ability to follow detailed operational procedures closely

· Attention to detail and able to consistently perform work accurately according to our high standards

· Comfortable with handling stool specimens on a daily basis

· Strong logical thinking, analytical, and communication skills
