As a Preschool Sports Coach, you'll deliver age-appropriate physical activities that make movement fun and educational. You'll work closely with the team to integrate physical development into the curriculum while ensuring each child's safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement developmentally appropriate sports and movement programs that promote motor skills, coordination, and physical literacy
  • Create inclusive activities that accommodate different ability levels and ensure all children can participate
  • Monitor and document children's physical development progress
  • Maintain a safe environment and enforce safety protocols during all activities
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to align physical activities with learning objectives
  • Communicate effectively with parents about their children's physical development
  • Organize and maintain sports equipment and activity areas
  • Lead both indoor and outdoor physical activities throughout the year

Requirements

  • Early Childhood qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with preschool aged children in an educational setting
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification would be advantageous
  • Previous experience in children's sports coaching or physical education
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development milestones
  • Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
