ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing the company’s product portfolio of cutting-edge high-content imaging systems, designed for high-throughput, high-resolution imaging and analysis of live or fixed cells. These systems empower researchers in life sciences to explore complex cellular behaviors and biological processes, with applications spanning: Drug discovery, Cell biology research, Cancer studies, 3D cell models and others.

SCOPE:

  • Develop strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth targets by expanding the presence of product series in targeted markets and establish company as a trusted partner.
  • Drive growth by engaging with customers and prospects in academia, government and other sectors to understand their needs and present relevant product solutions.
  • Identify and target key and emerging markets across the region.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities
  • Build and nurture relationships with major customers in the region, manage a longer sales cycle typical for advanced research equipment.
  • Collaborate with channel partners in various countries to promote microscopy and high-content imaging solutions.
  • Collaborate and provide high-quality application support to researchers and scientists to support their research projects.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training to showcase high-content screening products and single-cell analyzers

THE QUALIFIED CANDIDATE:

  • Educational Degree in Biology or other related fields
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Lifesciences Industry.
  • Willingness to travel within the region (20%).
  • Strong knowledge of microscopy applications in cancer research, cell biology, and drug discovery.
