We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technology Expert to join our team as a sole contributor.

In this role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise to design, develop, and manage critical technology initiatives, driving key projects from concept through execution. As the go-to specialist, you will independently lead projects, make impactful decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our technology solutions align with business objectives and performance standards.

You willlead the Fixed Broadband Core & Access Network planning, engineering and implementation teams. Adopt the Cloud Infinity’s strategy to transform StarHub’s IP broadband networks to support Cloud Native applications.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute the transformation plans, roadmaps and strategies for Broadband Core/Access, IP & Optical, Software-defined domains and Home CPEs.
  • Plan and transform StarHub’s xPON broadband network infrastructure into a cloud native, software-enabled, intelligent network architecture that supports fully-automated and data-driven operating model.
  • Project Leadership: Independently lead end-to-end technology projects, defining technical requirements, assessing feasibility, and setting realistic timelines. Manage the networks and platforms life-cycle and ensure that they continue to evolve to support existing and new business requirements for the broadband network.
  • Solution Architecture: Design and architect solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Evaluate and identify areas of automation with clear architecture view and its evolution path.
  • Implementation & Development: Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code. Lead the development and deployment of new software systems, integrations, and applications.
    Introduce best practices and build agile development mindset and capabilities within teams.
  • Manage vendors and other internal stakeholders to deliver projects and solutions that meet business requirements
  • Manage and influence business stakeholders in the technical designs, solutioning and product constructs.
  • Develop and manage various teams with different subject expertise for planning, implementation, Tier 3 troubleshooting and documentation:
    Broadband Core/Access networks and CPEs using XGSPON and beyond.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field
    10-12 years of experience in managing large scale telco or hyper-scaler, enterprise or cloud networks planning & operation.
    Expertise in IP Broadband and good understanding of fibre/optical concepts.
    Good knowledge of SDa architecture, software-defined networking, network containerization and their application, and security fundamentals.
    Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, etc.)
    Cross-Functional Experience: Experience collaborating with teams such as product management, business operations, and customer support.
    Strategic Vision: Ability to balance short-term needs with long-term business goals and technical roadmaps.
