Job Description:
Assist the Project Manager/Director on the following
- Execute the project with satisfaction by the customer under PDCA (plan do check action) cycle.
- Develop Project construction scheme: quality, safety, environment.
- Develop master schedule, ISO Quality Plan, OSHA Safety Plan, Identify the risk with tackle plan, to come out with budget plan, Understand the project contract conditions and requirements
- To develop trust relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
- To organize site work schedule with customer through staff management & Control of suppliers & subcontractors.
- Manage master construction schedule, quality, safety, to reduce from original budget, to meet authorities code of practices and client in house requirement
- To implement the approved installation methods
- To adopt new or creative/enhance efficient installation methods to reduce cost
- To develop efficient communication accordance to site organization
- To get better relationship between customer compare from the beginning of the project
- To improve negotiation skill with the customers
- To negotiate with customer on the variations
- To negotiate variations with suppliers and subcontractor
- To coordination with suppliers and subcontractors on the safety requirement
- To educate & make known to all the site staff with project construction scheme
- To identify staff weakness areas and improve on daily basis
- Continuous training on the job or seminar to improve management skill in all aspect of construction activities
- Guidance and training of junior staff
- To develop efficient communication accordance to the site organization
- To develop smooth communication environments with customer
- To establish daily communicate process among site staff
- Any issues at the site, to react and to solve proactively
- To motivate the site staff and encourage to tackle the issues at the site
Requirement:
- Singaporean/Singapore PR Only
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience can be considered.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Code of practice
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 / OSHAS 18000 (Minimum Requirement)
- Skill required: Building construction safety supervisor course
- Meticulous and responsible
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly motivated and proactive
- Strong on overall coordination and implementation of all disciplines.
