  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Adecco is partnering with a leading commercial vehicle solutions provider and we are seeking a Material Planner to join their business permanently! Reporting to the Manager, the successful incumbent will plan the end-to-end supply networks of service market parts by ensuring parts availability and customer service while maintaining optimal inventory levels and cost efficiency, managing periodic orders, tracking deliveries, and updating systems with accurate schedules.
  • Job Type: Full-time, permanent opportunity
  • Work Location: West region (company transport available at Jurong East/Admiralty)
  • Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Salary: Basic + AWS + VB
The Job:
  • Monitor KPIs and performance indicators, taking corrective actions when targets are not met.
  • Manage weekly delivery schedules with suppliers and ensure timely order processing.
  • Track overdue orders daily, coordinating with suppliers for urgent requests and confirmations.
  • Oversee supplier delivery schedules and ETAs, address outstanding orders and customer backorders, and proactively follow up on supplier delays to minimize disruptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ETAs, lead times, MOQs, and inventory optimization, balancing availability, inventory levels, and logistics costs.
  • Maintain accurate supplier and parts data across systems, ensuring updates align with part-to-file processes.
  • Initiate requisitions for new parts or supplier changes, coordinating with purchasing.
  • Support supplier relationship management by addressing and resolving supplier issues.
  • Manage product supersessions in the system, verifying and updating data based on relevant reports and systems.
  • Process dealer/customer buy-back requests as needed.
  • Assist in ordering initial stock, handling quality-related orders, and preparing for seasonal demand.
The Talent:
  • Must be comfortable to handle large volume of SKUs (over 1000 units).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP) and SAP.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to engage with internal teams and clients.
  • Independent, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience in supply chain planning with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
