- Oversee the work performance and service delivery of a team of staff to provide ICT support and services for day-to-day operation, including management of End User Computing Devices (EUCD) such as desktops/laptops, phones, portable storage devices etc. • Manage and execute the ICT Support plans based on operational requirements (typically within tight timelines) with alignment to the overall HTX strategic technology plans. This includes management of solutioning, budget allocation, resources, and schedules. • Lead in the reporting and resolution of IT and/or cybersecurity incidents. • Plan and lead the team in reviewing and improving the existing ICT processes to ensure that they continue to meet operational needs as well as governance. • Establish strong partnerships with key stakeholders and vendors. • Plan, lead and drive timely delivery of assigned projects within the committed schedule and budget, ensuring project issues are timely resolved. • Manage the corporate matters for the department with regular review to ensure sustainability and effectiveness. This would include HR and welfare matters, audits, training, workplace safety and budget management as well as developing new technology and engineering capabilities.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or general discipline with relevant ICT or engineering experience. • 8 years of relevant ICT/engineering project management experience with at least 3 years in managing a team of staff. • Excellent interpersonal, written and communications skills, preferably with leadership experience. • Meticulous in planning, with ability to work under pressure within tight timelines, and beyond office-hours when required. • Possess a strong sense of responsibility, positive attitude, resourcefulness and sound problem-solving skills. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
