- Develop and execute business plans and sales strategies to meet sales objectives, working closely with the Head of Sales to set budgets and targets.
- Proactively identify and engage potential clients, build a strong sales pipeline, and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the internal team on quotations and pricing strategies, monitor throughput and gross margins, and provide regular sales performance updates to the Head of Sales.
- Work closely with Operations and internal teams to ensure seamless execution, maintain performance standards, and conduct regular account reviews.
- Monitor outstanding debtors, take necessary actions for resolution, and analyze lost business to develop corrective strategies with the team.
- Utilize and maintain sales tools effectively, complete reports accurately, and handle additional duties as required.
- Possess Diploma in Logistics Operations, Business Management or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in Freight Forwarding or 3PL industry
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding with proven experience in selling air and sea freight services in competitive markets.
- Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
- Highly self-motivated, confident, and proactive with a strong sense of initiative and commitment.
