Job Title: Counter Executive
Job Description & Requirements
Job Responsibility:
This role is primarily responsible to execute the day-to-day operation of the Seacabbie operations, under the supervision of the Operation Manager. This is a shift-based role, and involves interaction with the fleet, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
This is a client facing role and is critical in maintaining an effective interface with our clients and serve as link between the client and boat operations.
Additionally, the role is also expected to promote our services to encourage the clients to provide bookings on our platform.
Job Accountability:
Boat Orders
- Monitor/make the bookings for the boat trips based on the client’s requirement as received on our booking platform. Ensure all customer’s orders / enquiries timely and accurately
- Co-ordinate the outsourcing of trips with the approved outsourcing boat vendors
- Handle and understand any client related issues with care and seek immediate guidance from supervisor / manager on duty as required.
Parcels/Off-land Items
- Receive and ensure safe storage of Off land items/parcels received from clients at the terminal (MSP/WCP)
- Follow-up with clients for collection of off- land items as required
- Ensure safe & timely dispatch of parcels to the vessels as per client bookings/instructions
Crew Operations
- Monitor the boat crew duty roster for attendance by ensuring clock-in/clock-out. When required, to coordinate the sourcing of replacement crew as per instruction of operation manager.
Operations
- Monitor the bunker requests and record remaining quantity (ROB) in liaison with boat crew by following the procedure if the boat needs to bunker
- Liaise with multiple parties including customers, agents, service providers boat crew, internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective completion of orders
- Maintain event data, records, and all related information promptly & accurately in system
- Communicate discrepancies / issues to team supervisor / manager when necessary
- Governs proper handing over and taking over of duties during change of shifts
Self-Development
- Understudy the role of Operations manager and assist in tasks related to operation of fleet when time permits. This role is the first step towards developing the skills required for fleet operations
Miscellaneous
- Any other ad-hoc work instructions / administration duties from supervisor / manager
Educational/Skills Qualification:
Education/Experience
- Minimum Diploma in any discipline; Maritime transportation related qualification is advantageous
- 1-2 years of experience in a logistics coordinator/customer service or similar roles is advantageous

Interpersonal Skills
- Able to work under pressure in a fast changing and demanding environment
- Self-disciplined, Proactive, responsible and independent and keen attention to details
- A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Mid-level Proficiency in spoken & written English to enable telephone & face to face conversations and be able to record information related to operations. Spoken Malay language skills are advantageous
Digital Skills
- Comfortably use mobile apps (WhatsApp, messaging platforms, company specific apps)
- Comfortably be able to use computer based applications ( MS office and related tools, company specific software)
*Relevant training will be provided on company specific software’s and apps
Shift Requirements
- 12-hour shifts ( 2 days work and 2 days off)
- 24x7 operations (including PH, weekends)
