We are seeking a dynamic Prospect Research Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial for driving our prospecting strategy and enhancing our engagement efforts. You will leverage your analytical abilities to identify, qualify, and manage potential prospects, ensuring a robust pipeline for our development initiatives.Duties and Responsibilities
- Prospect Identification & Qualification: Proactively identify and vet prospects with the potential to contribute significantly, ensuring they are qualified, assigned, and managed effectively by development officers.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research on prospects, including their background, relationships, philanthropic interests, giving capacity and propensity to the University, and adverse news, and summarise findings for business stakeholders in a concise and impactful manner.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work with engagement and development officers to develop optimal strategies for prospect engagement, including alerting stakeholders on potential gift cases or relevant constituent news.
- News Monitoring: Identify new gift opportunities and prospects and scan for adverse news on potential prospects and existing donors, to keep development officers updated.
- Database Mining: Utilise internal databases and external resources to identify potential individual, corporate, and foundation prospects for major gift solicitation.
- Graduate from a recognised University
- At least 3 years of experience in analysis / research.
- Detailed and process-oriented, with the capacity to see the bigger picture and make connections among projects and people.
