Role location: Singapore based (on-site)How will I help?We are seeking a dynamic individual as Associate Director or Director to join our Institutional Client Group (ICG), Financial Markets that sits within Westpac's Institutional Bank and provides Financial Markets execution, advice, support, and risk services to our clients with credit product needs in a value-added fashion.You will be responsible for driving and maintaining mutually beneficial long-term relationships with clients active in Australian & New Zealand AUD/ NZD & USD fixed Income. The role requires a deep understanding of Credit secondary & primary activity. Working seamlessly in a globally coordinated sales, trading & origination team to increase the penetration and delivery of our strategic product set. The ideal candidate will have strong existing relationships.You will also:
  • Execute upon the regional & global strategic sales plan effectively.
  • Help convert new accounts to dealing status through proactive marketing and providing support for the onboarding process.
  • Leverage financial markets offering and maximize cross sell opportunities with other areas of WIB.
  • Generate revenue and being accountable for achieving both regional and global budgets.
  • Work closely with team members to encourage and support each other and offer assistance and experience when required.
  • Strong experience in the FICC product suites
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Market products
  • Strong track record of relationship management and expanding existing client portfolios
  • Good understanding of sales and marketing concepts
  • Proven ability to interact with senior staff at major investment firms, banks and hedge funds
  • Understanding and respecting regulatory reforms
