Job DescriptionKPMG Turnaround and Restructuring Services help businesses and their stakeholders to conceptualize and implement strategic, operational and financial change. These changes are due to a constantly evolving business lifecycle and technological disruptions affecting how businesses operate. We help our clients find innovative solutions - from being a catalyst to help clients improve performance and achieve sustainable growth, to providing our expertise in helping clients navigate complex cross border solvencies.As a solvent reconstruction and liquidation specialist, you will be part of a team who are dedicated to their craft in bringing practical solutions to our clients and their stakeholders, with hands-on involvement in the implementation of reconstruction and liquidation plans.Responsibilities
  • Manage the internal restructuring processes for solvent companies in accordance with laws, regulations in Singapore, this include and not limited to, amalgamation, branch deregistration, members' voluntary liquidation.
  • Regular engagement with various internal and external stakeholders, to gather information, clarify issues, facilitate resolutions of the issues, all to ensure smooth project execution, while ensuring that all actions are in compliant to the relevant statutory obligations.
  • Oversee and manage multiple projects, making certain the timely delivery of all deliverables while maintaining high quality standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Solvent Reconstruction and Liquidation related engagements, such as corporate rationalisation exercises including exit planning and complex members' voluntary liquidation engagements. (Preferred, but not essential)
  • Degree in accountancy, or Finance or Business or professional qualification in accounting;
  • Computer literate (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook);
  • Be resourceful, versatile, analytical and possess strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively in English
  • Strong ability to multitask, manage multiple deadlines effectively and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Be able to work in teams with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
