We are hiring for a Section Manager, Logistics & Warehouses, to lead all aspects of daily area operations and ensure smooth workflow in terms of receipt, storage and shipment, manage and own the improvement initiatives in the department.

Duties and key responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the warehouse and shipping areas are operated in a safe, cGMP manner at all times
  • Assist in the review of logistics SOP’s and build new ones as needed.
  • Generation and/or approval of relevant change requests and deviations
  • Ensure that all inventory discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner
  • Support QA, customer and regulatory audits (internal and external)
  • Streamline area processes and work flows to increase area efficiency
  • Interact and maintain a good working relationship with other Lonza teams
  • Perform design review of warehouse processes, required infrastructure, warehouse layout review based on MPS(Manufacturing production schedule).
  • Own the onboarding of new customers by mapping their requirements, shipping process and generation of relevant change requests.
  • Act as the SME (Subject Matter Expect) and complete the logistics assessment in track wise for change requests raised by other departments.
  • Maintain performance metrics and analyze data to assess results and make improvements.
  • Own the investigation for deviations (if any) and ensure the deviation write up accurately covers all aspects of the deviation.
  • Monitor area paperwork for accuracy and compliance

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma or equivalent experience in a relevant Science field
  • People management experience in team based management
  • Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company systems
  • Problem solving skills and able to prioritise daily task accordingly
  • Understanding of cGMP regulations
