Anchored in our values of Passion for Sport, Strength through Teamwork and Care for People, we believe in working and playing, not just as a team, but as a family.What you will be working on:This incumbent is responsible for the operational readiness of facilities and ensures the venue and facilities are safe for both internal and external stakeholders. He/She is in charge of managing a variety of sport complexes/facilities ensuring works/services provided complies to regulations and contractual specifications in timely fashion. He/she works with contractors, partners, vendors and suppliers to ensure facilities downtime are turned around rapidly with minimal disruptions. He/She will also be involved in productivity initiatives to reduce errors in processes, wastage reduction and etc. Roles & Responsibilities : • Prioritise maintenance, servicing, repair and restoration schedules according to organisational needs • Follow up and follow through project implementations, etc • Ensure seamless integration of various vocational trades such as, and not limited to, building and property management, M&E, Piping and plumbing, ironmongery, AC/ MV, lifts and escalator, horticulture and etc • Develop and define quality standards and procedures for preventive and corrective maintenance • Formulate plans to improve facility operations • Develop procurement plans for consumable and non-consumable items based on operational requirements • Develop recommendations for service quality improvements • Prepare procurement related documents for projects • Prepare technical briefs to select, appoint and manage project consultants and contractors • Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders, Multi-Disciplinary Teams and Contractors to resolve technical problems • Provide administration and ensure knowledge management of project tender documents, processes and timelines • Manage all project team members to coordinate/ resolve technical issues • Custodian of the technical master construction schedule and ensure on works are on schedule • Review and align all technical design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines • Identify all technical discrepancies between mechanical, electrical, interior design, and stakeholders' provisions • Cascade regulatory, statuary, legislative and organisational compliance requirements (WSH, EMS, WEB and etc) into applied practices • Operationalise integration plans, standards and practices according to the relevant compliance • Ensure no breaches of safety, energy, environmental, health and procurement policies at worksites, facilities, venues and etc • Work with ActiveSG venue management and maintenance team on green initiatives projects • Develop and implement sustainability strategiesWhat we are looking for:We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: • A Bachelor Degree in Facilities/ Property Management, Built Environment, Building Sciences or related fields • At least 7 years of proven experience and/or track record in relevant areas, e.g. Property / Facilities Management / Contract Administration and Execution / Quality System Executive and Evaluation / Project Execution, Project Management, Project Risk Management • Good knowledge of Sports Industry and commercial business landscape • Strong work ethics, self-driven and a fast learner • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Is a Strategic thinker • Great multi-tasking skills • Has the ability to work independently • Possess sound and logical decision making and problem-solving abilities The level of offer will commensurate with applicants' experience and track records.
