Responsibilities:
- Participate in editorial meetings to brainstorm ideas, plan editorial calendars, and strategise content development initiatives
- Suggest topics, themes, and angles for upcoming publications based on audience trends, industry developments, and client’s objectives
- Researching and crafting compelling copy in English across various projects in both print (magazines, newsletters, annual reports, etc.) and digital (websites, blogs, social media, videos, etc.) mediums
- Ensuring accuracy and maintaining high quality standards for all generated content
- Managing multiple concurrent tasks efficiently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in publishing, media, and content creation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in journalism, publishing, media, or marketing communications
- Degree/Diploma in journalism, mass communication, or a related discipline
- Strong command of English, with excellent proofreading and copyediting skills
- Proficiency in writing in diverse styles and handling a broad spectrum of topics
- Experience in healthcare, automobile, sports, and lifestyle content preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing intense production schedules and tight deadlines effectively
- Some digital experience would be advantageous
- Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin is a bonus
- Excellent people- and project-management skills
- A strong team player with a willingness to collaborate and go the extra mile
