Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented ASEAN Sales Director to lead our sales strategy and execution across the ASEAN region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving revenue growth, managing high-performing teams, and expanding market presence within the Retail POS industry. This role is based in Singapore and reports directly to the Managing Director (MD) of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the ASEAN region.
- Identify new market opportunities, establish growth plans, and drive execution.
- Monitor sales metrics and KPIs, ensuring consistent achievement of goals.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
- Lead efforts to acquire new accounts and expand existing client relationships.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Set clear objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in the Retail POS sector.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure the company’s offerings align with market demands and customer needs.
- Prepare and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting for the ASEAN region.
- Optimize sales operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the Retail POS industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in the ASEAN region.
- Strong understanding of the Retail POS systems, including emerging trends and technologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, market trends, and competitive insights to drive decision-making.
- Willingness to travel within the ASEAN region.
