Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented ASEAN Sales Director to lead our sales strategy and execution across the ASEAN region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving revenue growth, managing high-performing teams, and expanding market presence within the Retail POS industry. This role is based in Singapore and reports directly to the Managing Director (MD) of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the ASEAN region.
  • Identify new market opportunities, establish growth plans, and drive execution.
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs, ensuring consistent achievement of goals.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
  • Lead efforts to acquire new accounts and expand existing client relationships.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Set clear objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in the Retail POS sector.
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure the company’s offerings align with market demands and customer needs.
  • Prepare and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting for the ASEAN region.
  • Optimize sales operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the Retail POS industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in the ASEAN region.
  • Strong understanding of the Retail POS systems, including emerging trends and technologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, market trends, and competitive insights to drive decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel within the ASEAN region.
