Role Overview

The PRODUCT MANAGER (INVENTORY MANAGEMENT) will be responsible for developing and executing a product strategy that ensures real-time, centralized visibility and seamless management of inventory across stores, warehouses, and supply chain systems.

In this role, you will lead the development of innovative inventory solutions that empower store and warehouse teams to manage stock levels efficiently, optimize replenishment processes, and enhance operational accuracy and customer satisfaction.

You will drive the creation and adoption of tools and platforms for inventory centralization, such as stock on hand (SOH) tracking, auto-replenishment, and seamless integration with point of sales (POS), order optimisation and core supply chain systems like Warehouse management systems (WMS) and Transport management systems (TMS). Your goal will be to establish a unified inventory management ecosystem that supports scalable, data-driven decision-making.

This role will require strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT, supply chain, store operations, and external vendors, to deliver inventory solutions that align with business goals and enhance overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and vision for inventory centralization and replenishment systems.
  • Define the roadmap for in-house and third-party inventory solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Outcomes & Metrics

  • Drive achievement of inventory optimization outcomes by prioritizing features, iterations, and experiments.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and refine product features to meet operational and business goals.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with supply chain,Inventory leadership, store operations, and IT teams to ensure the successful implementation of inventory systems.
  • Work with third-party vendors to integrate and enhance external platforms, such as Relex and mobile ordering systems.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, focusing on solving challenges like inventory visibility and auto-replenishment.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in replenishment processes, store transfers, and data centralization.

Customer Research & Feedback

  • Conduct research to understand the needs of internal stakeholders (e.g., store teams, warehouse teams) and define product requirements.
  • Actively seek user feedback to iterate and improve product features.

Industry Analysis & Best Practices

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in inventory management.
  • Analyze competitive offerings to identify areas for differentiation and improvement.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of demonstrated experience in product management roles, preferably in retail, supply chain, or e-commerce industries.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems, replenishment processes, and integration with POS/WMS platforms.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact products and solutions in inventory or supply chain domains.
  • Experience working with data analysis tools to make data-driven decisions and optimize product features.
  • Hands-on experience with third-party platforms like Relex, or similar inventory optimization tools, is a plus.
