You will help to build and sustain strong technology foundations forming the bedrock of GIC’s digital solutions.What will you do as an AVP, Infrastructure Engineer (Networks/Cloud Networks)?Design and Implementation:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure network architectures in AWS.
- Implement and manage AWS networking services such as VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53, and AWS WAF.
- Integrate on-premises network infrastructure and vendor specific solutions such as Bluecoat ProxySG and Checkpoint Firewalls with AWS cloud environments.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, both in the cloud and on-premises.
- Implement network security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and security groups.
- Configure and manage AWS CloudWatch for logging, metrics, and alarms.
- Utilize AWS CloudTrail for auditing and monitoring API calls.
- Implement AWS Config to assess, audit, and evaluate the configurations of AWS resources.
- Set up and manage AWS GuardDuty for continuous security monitoring and threat detection.
- Develop and maintain network automation scripts and tools using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and GitHub CI/CD.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new AWS services and features to improve network efficiency and security.
- Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of network services.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to support network infrastructure.
- Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
