About the Role
As a Regional Product Manager for Lending products (Loans / Trade Financing), you will be responsible for overseeing the standardization and alignment of servicing and collection processes across multiple markets, including Hong Kong, Thailand, and other SEA jurisdictions. You will leverage your deep expertise in this area to ensure efficient operations, customer satisfaction, and effective risk management.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive the standardization of loan servicing and collection processes across the region, ensuring consistency in policies, procedures, and systems.
- Provide expert guidance on servicing and collection best practices, risk management strategies, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of loan processes, reduce operational costs and enhance customer experience.
- Oversee the implementation of technology solutions to support servicing and collection operations, including customer portals, automated collection systems, and data analytics tools.
- Conduct UAT and live verification to ensure the quality of the system delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate credit risk and manage delinquent accounts effectively.
- Track the performance of loan servicing and collection operations across the region and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with local country product managers to ensure alignment with regional strategies and address market-specific needs.
- Liase with group stakeholders to make sure the products are delivered.
- Liaise with developers based in China for development and delivery of loan servicing and collection features and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in loan servicing and collection, preferably in a regional or global role.
- Deep understanding of loan servicing and collection processes, including customer communication, lending products life cycle, payment processing, delinquency management, and recovery strategies.
- Experience in digital banking or fintech.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Waterfall.
- Proven track record of driving process standardization and optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in English and Mandarin.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
