The Physiotherapist is responsible for the assessment and management of patients referred for physiotherapy in various clinical settings.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (80%)
1) Assess and manage patients referred for physiotherapy independently and implement appropriate treatment plans.
2) Report to referring doctor and other members of the medical team.
3) Document patient physiotherapy records accurately.
4) Charge patients accurately.
5) Perform registration of new patients.
6) Update individual performance statistical records regularly.
7) Comply with clinical and service standards.
8) Practise within areas of professional competence and seek clinical support from supervisor / other healthcare professionals when appropriate. Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)
9) Collaborate with other healthcare members and participate in case conferences.
10) Assist in the supervision of Therapy Assistants in the workgroup. 11) Participate in departmental QC and other activities.
12) Assist senior in inventory checks and upkeep of equipment and work area.
