ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity comes within our KFC Greater Asia team in driving profitable restaurant unit growth across a portfolio of franchise markets.

The scope of this position focuses primarily on the KFC Greater Asia Franchise business region which comprises the Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Mongolia and Myanmar markets.

This position will be based in Singapore, with minimal travelling required.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

You will be a key collaborator in driving alignment and execution of the development strategy between Yum! and our KFC GA markets. You will also support the initiatives involving building franchisee capability across market planning, site selection, and other development tools and processes.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE… with your role’s responsibilities

Your main duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Support medium-term strategy, annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes to drive close alignment between franchisees and Yum!
  • Lead monthly pipeline review meetings and prepare monthly development reports
  • Deliver growth insights through macroeconomics and market analysis as well as competitor benchmarking projects
  • Analyse store profitability to maximise store development potential across markets
  • Ensure continuous visibility of store actions workplans to achieve annual growth plans
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance and internal Development teams on contracts and invoicing related matters
  • Manage up-to-date accuracy of Asset Information System (AIS) with global counterparts
  • Assist in the organization of formal conferences, workshops and colleges
  • Enable best practices sharing among franchisees to build know-how
  • Responsible for optimizing business processes and supporting to meet targets
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned

To be successful in this role, you will be/have:

  • Degree or Diploma with a finance/economics/business major, preferably with 2-4 years’ relevant experience
  • Strong attention to details and analytical skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint capabilities
  • Adept with data organization, handling, and analysis
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and in a fast-paced environment
  • Natural team player with a can-do attitude

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Development, you will work closely with a great support network and enablers:

  • Development Team (Chief Development Officer, Market Development Managers and Design & Construction Manager).
  • Franchise Development teams of relevant markets
  • Key cross-functional partners such as Finance, Legal, Quality Assurance and Operations
