Responsibilities
- Allocate and assign personnel for installation / service assignments.
- Select sub-contractors for installation / service work requirements.
- Advise service personnel on upgrading / changes of Furuno product.
- Liaise with customer on technical issue.
- Provide feedback on product non-conformity and technical issue to principal and Furuno head-quarter.
- Ensure jobs completed by service personnel is according to customer requirement and specification of the equipment.
- Ensure all documents on installation / service works are completed and ready for billing.
- Ensure that proper maintenance and calibration is carried out for all test equipment.
- Provide technical advice to the team & authorized dealers and help them to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the work.
- Provide technical advice and training if required to technical staffs including staff of the dealers.
- Provide technical advice and solution to customer / client and dealers.
- Responsible for training, developing and imparting skills, knowledge & capabilities to the personnel and authorized dealers.
- Establish training program for personnel and authorized dealers so that they are competent on existing products as well as new products.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Service & Part Sales Manager (Operation Division).
Requirements
- Diploma holder preferably in Electronics / Electrical / Communication / Marine Engineering with 5 years of related working experiences.
- Degree holder preferably in Engineering with 3 years of related working experiences.
- Knowledge in ISO is an added advantage.
